Raw and natural, triple filtered, 100% Beeswax candles produce ions when burned, and those ions help to neutralize pollutants in the air. This helps eliminate dust, odors, and mold in the atmosphere, easing allergy and asthma symptoms and improving breathing for anyone nearby. In colder climates the candle may crack, that is normal and disappears soon after the flames light.
Even unscented Soy candles contain paraffin.
Potentially, burning a 100% soy candle will release small amounts of the carcinogens and toxins found in paraffin.
The scent in regular candles include formaldehyde, petroleum distillates, limonene, alcohol and esters. These harmful chemicals can cause health problems ranging from headaches, dizziness and allergy symptoms to asthma attacks, respiratory tract infections and worse. Let’s not get started on the led in the wicks. Boo.
In my home we only burn 100% organic beeswax. We love the cozy honey smell,
and I have lightly scented them with the plant essence of patchouli, sage, and sacred sandalwood.
Each one of my meditation candles is crafted with two crackling wooden wicks, and adds a unique touch. Each candle has a crystal moonstone, that you can collect at the bottom of the tin, and once your candle is all gone, put a string through and hang whenever makes your heart happiest!
